St. Charles Parish President Albert Laque would like to invite you to participate in an official agreement signing ceremony for the Norco Hurricane Protection Levee Pump Station Project, now that the St. Charles Parish Council has approved the construction agreement. This construction agreement, which was reached by the Parish, the Pontchartrain Levee District, Motiva Norco Refining and Shell Chemical Norco, includes a $4.3 million donation to the Parish for the Project.

On hand for the event will be Albert Laque, Motiva Refinery Manager Armand Abay, Shell Chemical Plant Manager Wayne Pearce, St. Charles Parish Council members, Levee Board members and Norco residents.
