Motiva Norco Refinery Names New General Manager
(Norco, LA) – The Motiva Norco Refinery welcomes a new General Manager to the site. Anne-Marie Ainsworth has taken over the reigns as the Motiva Norco Refinery General Manager. “I am pleased to have been given the opportunity to work with such a high caliber organization. I am looking forward to becoming an integral part of the Motiva Norco team and serving our neighbors,” commented Ainsworth. “This facility has a rich history of people with strong accomplishments, who make commitments and honor those commitments in meeting the significant market demands of our communities, as well as the greater region.”
Production Manager Jeff Funkhouser has been serving as interim General Manager for the last few months. He has been a key player in the facility’s journey towards becoming a world-class site in terms of safety, reliability and environmental excellence. In accepting the position, Ainsworth commended Funkhouser’s efforts. ”I appreciate Jeff’s leadership as well as the fine effort of the entire workforce at the Motiva Norco Refinery.” Additionally, Ainsworth expressed an interest in getting to know the people of St. Charles Parish.
Ainsworth has extensive refining experience, including 21 years in production, business, and engineering leadership positions. She joined Shell Deer Park Refining Company in 2000 where she was responsible for technical assurance, projects and information systems. Ainsworth later joined Shell Oil Products US as Director of Systems & Processes and recently served as Business Improvement Leader Americas West Coast for Shell Downstream Manufacturing.
Ainsworth holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toledo, and a Masters of Business Administration from Rice University. She and her husband, Tom, have four children.
